Design > Communications > Research > Cultural Mediation

I am a visual communications strategist and graphic designer with over 10 years of experience, developing inclusive and impactful design for mission-driven organizations across the United States, Latin America, and Europe. My work connects visual storytelling, cultural representation, environmental stewardship and human-centered design to uplift projects focused on equity, social justice, and community engagement. I specialize in transforming complex narratives into accessible, visually compelling forms of communication that resonate across languages, cultures, and audiences.

Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with nonprofits, cultural institutions, and advocacy campaigns that place underrepresented communities and the natural world at the center: from shaping environmental storytelling at Bay Nature Institute, to designing inclusive educational and fundraising campaigns in Spain, as well as leading visual identity strategies at cultural institutions like SFJAZZ and the Oakland Museum of California. At the heart of this work is a belief that design can be a prism reflecting myriad possibilities; by making communication accessible, culturally relevant, and rooted in the realities of the communities it serves. I lead with observation and research, shaping visual strategies that reflect the people and places I design for.

With a global perspective shaped by my immigrant experience and working in across borders, I believe in using visual communication as a catalyst for connection with others contexts and experiences, encouraging community participation and cultural resilience.
